Our family of three loves
off-beat adventures. Our daughter has stood face-to-wing with a stealth bomber, posed for photos next to the world's largest pecan, and explored the Cowboy Capital of the World. She's met a wallaby, played in a 1920s-era schoolhouse, and walked across the Purple People Bridge from Cincinnati to Newport, not to mention the fact that she had splashed in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans before she was three years old.
I write about our adventures to faraway places like Tokyo, but I also love our day trips closer to San Antonio. One of my favorite things to do is get in the car, fire up the GPS, and see where the road takes us.
